Are You Ready to Vote in November?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past few weeks, many of us know about the upcoming elections on November 3rd. With it still a month away, now is a good time for many to prepare themselves for it. This week Tuesday was National Voter Registration Day as well, so what a great time to check to see if you are registered here. It literally takes only a couple minutes!

Once you’re registered you will want to pick a convenient place nearby to vote that hopefully won’t be too crowded. To check your state or local election site, go here.

Not going to be around to vote in person? With concerns about absentee ballots not making it in time, make sure to request one today to ensure it gets counted before the election. You can fill out a request form here. It also only takes a couple minutes to complete.

Don’t know enough about your candidates or the issues? Check out ISideWith and AStartingPoint for apolitical information about candidates and issues covered from both sides of the aisle.

And if voting itself is not enough for you and you want to get more involved, check out our own blog post for a list of ways to get politically active.
